Q: Why don't I find some of the most popular bass strings, pickups, and accessories?
A: Our store hasn't set about to be a one-stop shop to capture maximum sales of all bass-related products, but features a select inventory of products we, as professional bassists, have personally tried and can recommend. Our luthiers have set up and repaired hundreds of basses from school instruments to Italian masterpieces from the collections of the world's premier bassists, and have a great deal of concern about what works and what doesn't. Our teachers are constantly working with students of all ages on the condition and function of their gear, so we receive a great deal of feedback from multiple sources on the success of different strings and setup strategies. There may be brands which are conspicuously absent. Please feel free to email and suggest a product you believe we may have overlooked.
THE SHIPPING KOAN
Q: Where is my shipment?
A: We refer you to the checkbox where you agreed that any questions about shipping and delivery would be directed to the US Postal Service, which is contractually responsible for your shipment until it reaches you, and to the shipping confirmation emails (2) from the web store and stamps.com with reminders of the same.
Q: But where is my shipment?
Q: The tracking number shows my shipment [hasn't been tendered to the USPS, has been in one location for days, etc]
A: As much as we'd love to help, only the USPS can answer for whether they scan parcels as received when we hand them in. We refer you to the above, etc. etc.
Q: So where's my shipment/I want QBC to pay me a refund for the USPS not delivering my shipment when their (estimated, not guaranteed) transit time said it should be...
A: We're just going to commit seppuku now.
